Your Cobra looks great, Superformance build lovely cars.

A group of us we’re in Bavaria in September. We drove down from Wurzburg to Seefeld in Austria via Rothenburg, Dinklesbuhl, Augsburg and Neaschwanstein. We then went to Lake Garda, Maranello, into Switzerland via the Great St Bernard Pass and then back through France via Mulhouse and Reims.

Most of us were in Cobras.

My Cobra (a Kirkham 427 S/C) is going away for the winter today, so I’ll get one more drive this year. 👍🏻

So, you've been just around the corner to my hometown when you've been in Rothenburg and Dinkelsbühl. These towns are only 50km away from the village where I live.

What a pity, I would have you invited if I had known about your trip earlier!

We arranged to meet up with another German couple in Seefeld, Wolfgang and Ulli Holzapfel, who also have a Cobra, amongst numerous other British cars. Do you know them?

Thats a nice garage and the 4-post lift must be a great help with maintenance.

My Cobra shares garage space with our Dino Ferrari.

I have a passion for V8 engines and US cars, but you are apparently a man of taste either.

I do not know the guys you mentioned. Cobras are very rare over here especially in my region. In the past I only saw two or three in real life.

And hey, you can really be proud, to have so much space in your garage, because this is always my biggest problem.

... two years ago I built a new garage in the backyard. First I thought it would be big enough, and from outside, my new garage looks quite big, but in the end it was again by far too small...

A great looking garage, but they’re never big enough, no matter how big you build them.

I think I've reached maximum workable size.  Mine's 120sqm footprint, with first floor storage, and the essential pit - built as two rooms:  a workshop and a garage.  Frankly I already struggle to keep it tidy, clean(ish) etc.  At this size the running costs for dehumidifiers etc. start to get noticeable as well.  There are 6 cars in here, and again, I struggle to keep on top of them to a standard I'm happy with.  And I will not have anyone else work on them, so I reckon that's my limit.

This is really awesome. And easily accessible from two sides. Can I have a look into it - but I fear I will pass out then ....

You will not have anyone else work on your cars? This is for sure the right decission. I also try to make everything by my own. This is the only possible way to be in the end sure that everything has been done in a proper way.
